A certain charity takes appliances away for a small fee but there is a condition: the appliance should be "on the level" or "on the first floor."
So, I mention, there are the stairs to the front door on the first floor. Is that a problem?
How many steps? they ask.
Six, I say.
We'll do five.
What if you take it to the door, do the top five steps, I'll do the sixth step, and you take it to the truck?
