The Toa Maiden Disappears from Captivity

Teaser: Toa Maiden Fever Dream
This started out as a Bionicle Santa, which didn't work out too well, mostly because of the difficulty in making a convincing beard. Also making a plausible belly like a bowlful of jelly proved not easy. Robot monsters do not tend to rotundity. Except Tic-Toc. The closest I got was Santa Mantis and that was not satisfactory. It morphed into this more conventional ACTION FIGURE. Features to note:
- Festive color scheme.
- Cape!
- Mantis-like head.
- Golden bustle.
- Articulated waist.
- Gadgetized feet.
Talk to the hook!

The Toa Maiden is betrayed
Last time, the Toa Maiden had met another Toa-like being also intent on helping a group of villagers. Some time later, the villagers prove to be not what they seem.

Alien Hunter Samurai Robot Thingie
With the exception of the Toa Maiden, I avoid creating Bionicle characters because they never quite seem to fit into the universe smoothly enough. I found myself with a lot of spare parts (thanks Voporak!) and eventually this stout fellow emerged while I was watching Alfred Hitchcock's Blackmail. It comes across as equal parts Predator, samurai and linebacker.

Onua Nuva Infected by Krana
Poor Onua Nuva! In a shocking turn of events, Onua Nuva has been possessed by a Krana and has even infected Lewa with a Krana. Kopaka is in a tricky spot. He could probably rescu Lewa, but Onua Nuva far outmatches his ice powers. The Bohrok, recently under the control of Mystical Blue Masking Tape, are again free.

Another Toa Maiden Tale
The impetus for this slideshow was a visit by a small child and the consequent disassembly of some of my Bionicle. A fine time was had by all.

Another Bionicle Slide Show
This slide show has little story to tell. The Toa Maiden, some Matorans and a tame Bohrok named Bobo lift a Boxor vehicle up a short cliff. My goal was to capture some very late afternoon light. Then the battery in my camera gave out.

Put up some new Toa Maiden pics here. I'm not sure why she decided to knock over the stone arch. Maybe it was a hazard.
